Conference. Jewish Cultural Heritage. Projects, Methods, Inspirations. – Join the Project Village
Join the project villageRegistration ended 2016-03-31 23:45
The third day of the conference will be devoted to networking, public presentation of your work and sharing your experiences in an informal atmosphere. At POLIN Museum a Project Village will be created as an additional event, so that people working on Jewish cultural heritage can display their projects. Individuals or institutions who do not wish to attend the conference are still welcome to join the village. We strongly encourage everyone to bring materials or something representative of their project; things that will catch the interest of the conference participants and the public. The village is mainly dedicated to the conference participants but it is also open to the public. The village will be launched with a mapping of the European Jewish cultural heritage projects. We will ask everyone to mark their project on a large map of Europe and add a photo and a description, so please bring them with you Additionally this open call is so that you can bring your own creative contribution to the program: create workshops, artistic installations, or any other initiatives you can think of for the program of the Project Village. We envision that these will be short, participatory, drop in activities so that everyone will have the chance to explore as many projects as possible in the village. Attention, joining the Project Village is not the same as signing up to participate in the conference. The registration for the conference is a separate procedure. We encourage you to take part in the call for papers, or to register for the conference between 1 May 2016 and 31 May 2016. We await your applications, until 31 March 2016.
